Muv-Luv Publisher Announces Solution for Issues Affecting Non-Backers After the Games Return to Steam

The transfer of the western publishing rights of Muv-Luv and Muv-Luv Alternative from Degica Games back to Ixtl caused a few issues, culminating with the removal of both games from sale on Steam.

The publisher made an announcement at the end of January, mentioning that the games would return this month with different AppIDs, but that left many who did not back the original successful Kickstarter campaign and purchased the titles afterward with doubts.

Recently, Ixtl published an update that announced a solution for those issues. First of all, those who purchased the games can install them at any time simply by finding them in their library.

In addition to that, once the games relaunch on Steam, they’ll be able to contact Ixtl in order to receive the versions with the new AppIDs if they so wish. They will be posting more details on how get them as soon as they make sure that everything is working correctly under the new account.

Muv-Luv and Alternative will relaunch on Steam this month and will come to PS Vita soon, both digitally and physically.

In other Muv-Luv news, the Attack on Titan crossover event and the second Valentine’s Day event are in full swing in the mobile and browser game Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier.
